Pink oyster is more a challenging mushroom to produce effectively when compared to the common cultivation practices of other oyster mushrooms. The mycelium is very susceptible to competition and infection and therefore tends to perform poorly on substrates that are not fully sterilized. Please take this into consideration when planning your pink oyster mushroom growing regime.
